GIVING

ARTHRITIS AWARENESS MONTH: DAILY EMAILS THIS WEEK ABOUT WAYS TO GIVE

One in every four adults in the U.S. — more than 58.5 million  live with arthritis, and that number continues to grow. ANRF funds arthritis and related autoimmune disease research to help stop this number from growing and are only able to do so because of donor support. During Arthritis Awareness Month, and particularly this week, which culminates on Friday, May 20th with World Autoimmune Arthritis Awareness Day (World AiArthritis Day), daily emails will share different ways to give and support arthritis research, beginning with a direct link to our donate form. Be.a part of funding improved therapies, treatments and a path to a cure for arthritis and related autoimmune diseases!

RECIPES

SPRING SOUP: ROASTED PUMPKIN APPLE

Pumpkin is an excellent source of vitamin A and vitamin C, helping immune cells work more effectively and wounds to heal more rapidly. Also a powerful antioxidant to fight joint inflammation, Vitamin C serves a role as a co-factor in collagen synthesis, the main protein in joint tissue and bone, helps fight infection and may work to control inflammation linked to infection. This healthy recipe pairs perfect with a spring salad for a light lunch or dinner. (Hint: This can be served warm or even chilled)...

ANRF MISSION
